Using data from the SEARCH for Diabetes Youth Study cohort, a prospective longitudinal we examined clustering of their underlying clinical factors performance on tests young adults T1D T2D. Cognition was assessed via NIH Toolbox Battery. The main variables were age-corrected scores composite fluid cognition associated subdomains. included retinopathy, microalbuminuria, peripheral neuropathy (PN). Lipids, systolic blood pressure (SBP), hemoglobin A1c, other analyses. Clustering applied separately to each group (T1D = 646; T2D 165). A three-cluster (C) solution identified type. Mean values frequencies all compared between resulting clusters. Results. average score differed significantly across clusters ( p < 0.001 ). lowest had highest frequency self-reporting at least one episode hypoglycemia year preceding testing prevalence PN. Persons SBP, central diastolic pressures, Conclusions/Interpretations. These findings highlight shared (PN) unique (hypoglycemia T1D; SBP T2D) that could be targeted potentially mitigate issues people
